Pizza Kitchen on a rock in a gas oven to help brick?

I bought a stone "brick" when he was staying Pan Pizza with his family in Canada. I made a pizza oven and the bread in the oven. It's perfectly crispy crust and was cooked was cooked evenly – anything that said the brick bread box Stone does. I was so happy with my purchase that I bought another and took him home with me in England. However, I made pizza cooked at home and in the same pan in my oven gas and took longer to cook until the pizza was gold, but the bark was still wet and pale. I have a pizza stone and love it. Although our oven is electric, my sister-in-law has a gas oven and stone and use it without any problems. One thought though … Do not forget to preheat the oven with the stone in it. If the stone has been allowed to warm before placing the pizza in it, I do not understand why you have a problem. I know that no stone preheat a couple of times and the crust was not as good. I have also found the thermostat on your oven? Sometimes, gas furnaces should be recalibrated as they age. Get an oven thermometer (which are cheap) and the oven at any temperature. A Once that is preheated, check the thermometer to see if it matches the temperature. If it is not necessary to reset the thermostat. Your oven manual should tell you how.
