Devil's Pie – Country Living HOLIDAY

Ingredients

1 / 4 C. Butter or margarine, softened

1 1 / 2 teaspoon sugar

1 / 4 CC. Salt

1 tbsp. Vanilla

3 / 4 cup unsweetened cocoa

3 1 / 2 teaspoon sifted cake flour

2 tsp. Baking soda

2 1 / 2 teaspoon water

4 egg whites, at room temperature.

Cocoa Frosting

Chocolate Frosting

Confectioners sugar and cocoa without sugar (optional for garnish chessboard)

Instructions

1. Heat oven to 350'F. Generously grease and flour three 9-inch round

cake molds.

2. In a bowl large electric mixer or blender, beat butter, 3 / 4 C

sugar, salt and vanilla together until light and fluffy.

3. Combine cocoa, flour and soda in a colander. Sift in a bowl over

of the butter mixture. Add water and beat on low speed until smooth.

4. Own drum in a medium bowl, beat egg whites until they are soft and fluffy.

Gradually add remaining 3 / 4 C. sugar Continue beat until firm peaks form. Fold one third at a time, in the chocolate mass.

5. Pour evenly into prepared pans. Bake until the centers of spring

Back touch 20-25 minutes.

6. Cool 5 minutes in pans. Turn off the cooling rack and let cool

completely.

7. Prepare frosting of cocoa. Fill and assemble pie. Spread a thin

thin layer of ice on the cake. Refrigerate one hour.

8. Prepare glaze chocolate. Place cooled cake on a cooling rack

a lower tray. Spoon glaze over top of cake. Pour glaze Expand uniformly to the sides. smooth surfaces.

9. Place the cake, still in a cooling rack with a tray in the refrigerator until

enamel is firm.

10. Decorate the top with cocoa and icing sugar just chessboard

CAKE 4 oz white chocolate, chopped

2 packages. Eight ounces of cream cheese

3 / 4 cup sugar

3 eggs

2 tsp. Vanilla

3 c. Cream

Dough: 1 cup graham cracker crumbs

2 Tbsp. Melted butter

2 oz chopped white chocolate

Glaze: 2 tablespoons Cranberries

1 / 3 cup sugar

1 tbsp. Cornstarch

White chocolate shavings for garnish, if desired

Instructions

Recipe Crust: Mix crumbs with butter until moist, add the chocolate. Click on the bottom of the form of greased 9-inch spring. Centre pan on a 20 x 14 inch aluminum foil, press down firmly around the side of the mold. Bake at 325F for 8 minutes. Cool on a rack.

Recipe Cake: In a double boiler melt the chocolate. Cool. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until soft. Gradually add sugar and beat for 3 minutes or until frothy. At low speed, beat eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla, chocolate and salt and add the sour cream. Pour over crust. Set the pan on a cake shallow well, pour in enough hot water to come 1 inch side. Bake at 325F for 1 1 / 4 or until edge is set but the center still moves slightly. Extinguish the oven and let cool in oven for 1 hour. Remove from pan and remove paper bigger and cool on a wire rack. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Recipe Frosting: In saucepan cook cranberries and 1 / 4 cup water, partially covered, until boiling. Embed sugar and return to boil and cook for 2 minutes or until the sugar is dissolved, but the berries have burst. Drain off juice and berries separately. Remove cake from pan and place in pie dish. Back to the pan juice, mix cornstarch. Cook, whisking, until boiling and thickened and cool slightly. Spoon berries around edge of cake. Pour glaze over top. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until. Garnish with chocolate bars. Life of Canada, in December 1993.

Candle Making Mould: The wonders of silicone

The advent of silicone in the craft scene has done wonders for the industry. It has become life much easier at all levels, the manufacturer of candles, candy from the machine. One of the best qualities of silicone is that it is a nonstick surface. Ideal for manufacturers of candles because the candles fit easily into the molds. Do not worry about a lot of work to prepare the molds to be used and not have to cover with another product of vegetable oil.

A further key qualities of silicone is that it can operate in extreme temperatures without too hot to handle. Be sure to place your candle mold on a stable surface. baking trays work well because they have a advantage that helps keep the mold from sliding.

Cut your locks recommend three or four inches taller than the mussels you are using. This will help to give a better starting point. The advice applies to any type of candle mold.

If you are going to make their own candles, then a bath is a must have. It works very well to melt the wax, wax directly affects the heat source. This prevents wax burning, and eliminating the chance of ignition and the wax to ignite. I recommend using a water bath designed specifically for the manufacture of candles. This avoid any possible cross contamination between food and wax.

Finally, do not get stuck in a rut. Let your imagination. Leave shops Sailing from time to time and use your imagination. Try to find different molds to work something different and unique. What about cooking mussels, such as cakes, pies and mini bundt, etc. Have fun with it. Remember, if you do not like you can always melt it and start again.
